Interview Lab is operated by Waseem Khamboo, who is the controller for the personal information used during this private beta. Privacy and data-rights queries can be sent to wkhamboo@gmail.com.

Account email, profile and progress information, typed answers, spoken-answer audio, transcripts and—only when you choose video mock mode—up to eight low-resolution still frames sampled during the session. The service does not create facial templates, perform facial recognition or use recordings to establish identity.

The information is used only to provide the interview coaching you request: transcription, content assessment and observable delivery feedback. It is not used to make employment or recruitment decisions.

Microphone and camera access are off by default. Recording requires a separate affirmative opt-in each session. Video is optional; typed answer development remains available. You may stop recording at any time and delete the displayed session report.

Feedback may discuss framing, camera angle, lighting, posture stability, gaze direction relative to the camera, visible engagement, gestures, pace, repetition and signposting. It must not infer emotion, anxiety, confidence, honesty, personality, health, disability, neurodiversity or protected characteristics. It must not perform biometric identification.

Recordings and sampled frames are transmitted securely to OpenAI API services to provide transcription and analysis. Responses are requested with storage disabled where supported. OpenAI may still retain API data for limited abuse-monitoring purposes under its applicable service terms and data controls. Do not include patient-identifiable information or confidential clinical information.

Interview Lab does not intentionally save raw audio or video recordings. The browser holds recording data temporarily while it is processed. Signed-in users may have profiles, transcripts, feedback, drafts, evidence-bank content and progress stored securely against their account so it can be used across devices. Users can export or delete this account data from the dashboard.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are used to understand anonymised visits, page usage and real-world website performance. These services are designed not to identify an individual visitor or reconstruct their browsing across different days. Candidate account activity and preparation progress are kept separate from these aggregate website measurements.

The service owner may access limited account, usage, progress and beta-feedback information where needed to operate and evaluate the beta. Full candidate answers are excluded from the main administration dashboard. Access is restricted through server-side owner verification.

Structured beta feedback is stored against your signed-in account so the founder can understand product quality, accuracy, usability and value. Permission to contact you or quote your feedback is optional and requested separately within the feedback form. No quotation will be treated as approved unless you actively select the relevant permission; you can withdraw that permission by editing your form before publication.

Before public launch, the service will publish verified controller contact details and a process for access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and withdrawal requests. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Because this is a private prototype, do not use recording features if you require a formal rights request process now.

• Use the feature only in a private environment and ensure no other person is recorded.
• Do not mention patient names, dates of birth, NHS numbers or identifiable case details.
• Camera feedback is developmental, based on sparse samples and may be inaccurate.
• No automated report should be treated as an official interview score or employment decision.
